The Konieczka’s fundraising success!

Scaling up research means scaling up fundraising. As Sophie’s Hope Foundation/cureGSD1b commits to larger, more complex studies, every community‑driven campaign truly moves the needle for GSD1b research. But while fundraising has big impacts, it doesn’t have to be a lot of work!

The Konieczka family recently launched an online fundraiser to support our work and share their experience. Stephanie said, “Creating our online fundraising campaign was so quick and easy! With the support of the Sophie’s Hope Foundation Team, I was able to raise over $10,000 in a very short time. All I had to do was gather photos and create some text about our daughter, and then Sophie’s Hope created the professional-looking webpage. Once that was completed, there was literally no work to be done … and the donations just start coming in! SO EASY!! What an easy, no-stress way to fund the research that helps our kids. Let’s all rally to take some of the burden off of our favorite foundation and show them how much we appreciate them!”

If you’re interested in doing something similar, reach out to us—we can help you set up an easy, low‑stress campaign. Every bit of support makes a real difference for GSD1b research.
